Vertikale Begrünung Neue Hard 12

Auf dem Areal der ehemaligen Zentralwäscherei Zürich findet eine Zwischennutzung in den Bereichen Sport und Kultur statt. In den alten Büroräumlichkeiten wurden von der Stadt Zürich verschiedene Ateliers zur Verfügung gestellt, in denen verschiedene Nutzung stattfinden. Markant steht an der Westfront der grosse Büroturm. Die Aussenfassade definiert sich momentan durch verschiedene Street Art und andere Malereien. Grundsätzlich sind wir nicht gegen diese Malereien, jedoch finden wir das die vertikale Begrünung des Hauptturms für das Quartier und für das Gebäude eine grosse Aufwertung ist. Die Symbiose von Natur und Industrie hat nicht nur ästhetischen wert, sondern findet in architektonischen Bauten weltweit grossen Anklang. Sie thematisiert gesellschaftlich relevante Themen wie Urbanisierung, Stadtflucht und die Klimaproblematik. Auch könnte der begrünte Turm ein neues Highlight in der Skyline von Zürich West werden und die Stadtidee in einer sehr schönen Weise repräsentieren. Gerne würden wir ab Frühling/Sommer 2022 den Turm sehen, wir er kontinuierlich grüner und bewachsener wird.
