Orchideen und Blumen für Zürich

Bereits seit vielen Jahren pachtet der Natur- und Vogelschutzverein Höngg zwei Grundstücke am Kappenbühl und am Ruggernweg von der Stadt Zürich. Wir bewirtschaften diese möglichst ökologisch und fördern die Biodiversität mit ganz vielen verschiedenen Massnahmen: Obstbäumen, Altgrasstreifen, Hecken, Stein- und Asthaufen etc. Und dies mit Erfolg, denn die Artenvielfalt hat deutlich zugenommen und zusätzliche Arten sind eingewandert. Vor circa vier Jahren haben wir Orchideen (aus lokalem Saatgut) durch eine Spezialistin einsäen lassen. Dieses Jahr war die Freude riesig, als eine Bienenragwurz und gleich mehrere Spitzorchis blühten! An diesem Erfolg wollen wir anknüpfen und zusätzliche Orchideenarten und andere ganz seltene Blumen einsäen lassen. Das Projekt wird mit Grün Stadt Zürich abgesprochen und durch eine Spezialistin ausgeführt (da uns das Fachwissen dafür fehlt). Unter anderem wollen wir das Kleine Knabenkraut und die Knäuel-Glockenblume ansiedeln. Mehr Infos über uns findet ihr unter www.nvvhoengg.ch.
