Dorfplatz Römerhof

Nach langer Umbauzeit entsteht am Römerhof ein neuer Platz. Das Café des Visions möchte diesen gemeinsam mit Menschen aus dem Quartier aneignen und einen Dorfplatz gestalten, der zum Verweilen einlädt und ein Treffpunkt ist für Ideen und Aktivitäten. An einem PLANUNGSWOCHENENDE im Frühling ist das Café des Visions auf dem Römerhof zu Gast und lädt ein, gemeinsam mit anderen Ideen auszutüfteln, Pläne zu schmieden, Skizzen zu malen und Modelle zu bauen. Was wünscht du dir für diesen Ort? Wie soll er gestaltet werden? Was könnte hier stattfinden? Was würde den Ort so einzigartig machen, dass du hier gerne Zeit verbringst? Die beiden Tage bieten Gelegenheit, mit Ideen auf Partnersuche zu gehen und andere kennenzulernen, die ebenfalls am Aufbau einer neuen Art von Quartierleben interessiert sind.

Am BAUWOCHENENDE werden erste Ideen realisiert. Auf dem Platz wird eine MOBILE DORFPLATZINFRASTRUKTUR gebaut, beispielsweise ein langer Tisch für Kaffeeklatsch, Tauschaktionen oder kulinarische Treffen. Mit dieser Infrastruktur finden den Sommer über Dorfplatzaktivitäten statt, die offenstehen für Quartierbewohner:innen und Passant:innen. Am letzten Anlass – einem kleinen FEST AUF DEM DORFPLATZ - wird das Projekt ausgewertet und eine Weiterführung geplant. Das Projekt sucht die Vernetzung mit dem Quartierverein, dem GZ Hottingen, um anzuknüpfen an bestehende Projekte, mit dem Gewerbe am Römerhof, um innovative Ideen für ein Platzleben zu entwickeln und dem Tiefbauamt (Piazza Pop Up und Brings uf d’Strass) für bereits vorhandene mobile Infrastrukturen. Die künstlerische Perspektive des Café des Visions macht die Gestaltung von Stadtleben und Stadtraum zum Oeuvre. Es entwickelt sich auf dem Platz im Sinne eines Living Lab und steht in allen Projektphasen offen für neue Mit-Gestalter:innen.
