Klima-Stadtrundgang

Die Stadt Zürich will in wenigen Jahren Netto Null Treibhausgasemissionen erreichen. Je mehr Menschen über die Gründe und Folgen der Klimaerwärmung und mögliche Lösungen Bescheid wissen, umso eher sind sie bereit, ihren Beitrag zu leisten und Massnahmen mitzutragen. Davon profitieren alle. Deshalb will der Verein Klimastadt Zürich einen informativen und lehrreichen Rundgang zum Thema “Klima-Hotspots” entwickeln. Die Innenstadt bietet sich dafür besonders an, denn da gibt es klimatische Hotspots ohne Ende. An ihnen werden die wichtigsten Lösungen zu den Themen Gebäude, Energie, Mobilität, Konsum, Ernährung und die Rolle von Finanzplatz, Wirtschaft, Wissenschaft und Politik erläutert. Hotspot-Zwischenhalte sind beispielsweise Europaallee und Münsterhof (Hitzeinseln durch Versiegelung), ETH (Rolle von Wissenschaft und Klimaforschung), Bahnhofstrasse, Hiltl und Rampe 21 (Konsum, Ernährung und Foodwaste), Rathaus und Leibundguthaus Bolleystrasse (CO2-freie Wärme- und Energieproduktion), Klimapavillon Werdmühleplatz (Sensibilisierung, Bildung, Austausch) und Paradeplatz (Finanzplatz und Klima). Der Rundgang wird im Sommerhalbjahr 2022 mit einem Anlass für Zürcherinnen und Zürcher eröffnet. Zürich Tourismus beabsichtigt, den Rundgang anschliessend in sein TourProgramm aufzunehmen.
