„Rising Girls“ - Tischtennis für Mädchen

Tischtennis ist ein Sport, den jeder kennt und spielen kann. Trotzdem finden sich unter den Aktiven bedeutend weniger Mädchen und Frauen als Buben und Männer. So auch bei uns, dem Tischtennisverein Young Stars Zürich (YSZ) - bis jetzt. Deshalb möchten wir: - Einsteigerkurse für Mädchen aus unserem Quartier durchführen, bei denen jede Teilnehmerin ganz unbefangen ausprobieren kann, ob sie sich für Tischtennis begeistern kann (für 10-12 Mädchen, 6 Lektionen, je 1x pro Semester) - Plätze im Training garantieren für alle Spielerinnen, die nach dem Einsteigerkurs gefallen am Tischtennis spielen gefunden haben und im Verein spielen möchten - Individuelles Fördertraining anbieten für Talente, die höhere Ziele anstreben (4 Teilnehmerinnen pro Semester) Warum einen Einsteigerkurs? Im Laufe der letzten Jahre hat es sich für YSZ als praktisch herausgestellt, gleich mit einer Gruppe Einsteiger zu beginnen. In dieser Gruppe können dann gemeinsam die ersten Schlagtechniken erlernt werden, es bewegen sich alle auf etwa dem gleichen Level und es bilden sich Freundschaften, die noch lange bestehen. Ausserdem stellt sich nach diesen Lektionen schon bald heraus, wer den Sport weiter verfolgen möchte und wer sich lieber anders orientieren mag. Warum individuelles Training? Am Anfang des Lernens passieren noch häufig Fehler, was grundsätzlich auch zum Prozess dazu gehört. Besonders wenn zwei Anfänger aufeinandertreffen, kann es dadurch aber vorkommen, dass mehr Zeit mit dem Bälle sammeln verbracht wird, als mit Spiel und Training. Wir möchten deshalb einigen Spielerinnen die Chance geben, individuell mit einem Trainer zu arbeiten und zügig Fortschritte zu machen.
