Developing the Schlachthof site in dialogue
Participation in test and master planning
In addition to the preservation and further development of commercial use, an elementary school, possibly apartments and a spacious public park are to be built on the Schlachthof site. This is expected to cover up to 15,000 square meters - the equivalent of around two football pitches. As part of the ongoing test planning, an open space concept is being developed for the entire site and the layout of the public park on the site is being examined. The new open space can make an important contribution to improving the urban climate and turn the Schlachthof site into a place where people enjoy spending their free time.
