Survey Renovation and upgrading of Affoltern neighborhood park

The city wants to repair the neighbourhood park and the surroundings of the Affoltern community centre and adapt them to changing operational requirements.

The community centre in Zurich-Affoltern, built in 1981, and the adjacent neighbourhood park are popular meeting places. Their services are actively used by the growing population of the neighbourhood. Since the community centre was built, neither the building nor the outdoor facilities have been comprehensively repaired.

The neighbourhood park and the surroundings of the community centre will be renovated and upgraded both in terms of design and ecology. The park is characterised by its old trees and shrubs as well as a wide range of play and recreational facilities - this should remain the case in the future. At the same time, there is an opportunity to tailor the facility even better to the needs of the neighbourhood population.

To this end, the City of Zurich is conducting a survey. The results will be incorporated into further planning.
