Vielen Dank für deine Idee und den Ansatz einer Zeitbank, die generationenübergreifende Unterstützung und sozialen Zusammenhalt stärkt – das ist ein spannendes und bewährtes Modell.

Im Pilotquartier suchen wir jedoch Ansätze mit einem klaren Bezug zu den Netto-Null-Zielen, also zur Reduktion von Treibhausgasemissionen oder zu klimarelevanten Veränderungen im Alltag. Dieser Bezug ist in der aktuellen Ausgestaltung der Idee leider nicht erkennbar.

Vor diesem Hintergrund kann die Idee im Rahmen des Votings leider nicht berücksichtigt werden. Herzlichen Dank dir dennoch für dein Engagement und deinen Beitrag zum Pilotquartier. Time banks work similarly to money banks, but "trade" with time. People over 50 can voluntarily "deposit time" and help older people with everyday tasks, or just spend time with them. This time is credited to an account and can later redeem this time with other participants in the time bank. The time bank system has many advantages: It prevents loneliness in old age, relieves the burden on the care sector, and promotes cohesion between generations. In order for this project to be implemented in the pilot district, the city of Zurich could "guarantee" the time accounts.
