What should be created?
IN SHORT: Making an impact with stories: With personal climate stories from the neighbourhood, the pilot podcast strengthens neighbourhood cohesion and encourages people to do something for the climate themselves and/or to support existing projects. IN DETAIL: What? In the pilot podcast, people from the pilot district talk about their ideas, projects, experiences, challenges, thoughts and visions in 15-20 minute interviews. All in relation to the climate and the pilot district. Honest, approachable and personal. How often? A new episode is released every Monday (that would be awesome). However, the exact frequency depends on the team line-up and thus on the capacities. Where? Recording: Depending on the person and topic, the recording takes place directly on site, in a quiet room or, if available, in a studio. Publication: wherever podcasts are available (Spotify, Apple Music and co.). Who? From children to grandmothers, from activists to skeptics, from residents to business owners, from Zurich residents to members of the Jewish community: the pilot podcast gives the whole diversity of the neighbourhood its say. Moderated by me and/or future teammates. What for? 1. Strengthen cohesion and neighbourhood identity: The podcast shows that many people have similar questions, hopes and challenges and at the same time makes other perspectives more understandable. In this way, it strengthens cohesion, the sense of togetherness and identification with the neighbourhood and thus also encourages participation. 2. Promote visibility and networking: The pilot podcast not only gives ideas and projects a stage, but also a voice and a face. In this way, it facilitates networking and promotes dialogue for the joint implementation of projects. 3. Create a personal document of your time: The pilot podcast is also a nice way to capture the large "Pilotquartier" project from a personal perspective with real voices from the neighborhood. The result is a living contemporary document.
