What should be created?
Today's students, Generation Z, are shaping the world of tomorrow. But how do we succeed in leading them from a perception that is often characterized by crises to an attitude of optimism, self-efficacy and the ability to act? The Bühl, Gotthelf (Aegerten), Rebhügel and Wiedikon cantonal schools are located in the district. In three-day future workshops, the children and young people learn about the methodology of Design Thinking. They research and analyse real challenges around sustainability and climate protection in the neighbourhood and develop systematically and co-creatively implementable solutions for their immediate environment. The event concludes with a public exhibition or magazine in which the projects become visible and enter into dialogue with the community. In the workshops, transversal skills such as critical thinking, problem-solving skills, creativity and collaboration are practiced and strengthened. The project invites young people to look, take responsibility and actively shape change. In this way, they experience that their ideas also have an effect.
