Mobile drop-off and pick-up station

What should be created?
We all know the situation all too well: In Binz, as everywhere in the city, unsightly corners are created where garbage is illegally disposed of. Instead of passing on old or slightly defective items, they prefer to buy new and throw away the old ones. The problem is that in addition to the illegally disposed garbage, there are also many usable and absolutely functional objects. The city already offers various options to minimize this, e.g. the recurring mobile recycling center or the "Josy". However, I am convinced that there is a need for even more low-threshold offers in the neighbourhood in Alt-Wiedikon and Binz, so that such illegal waste corners are reduced. One example would be a mobile bring-and-pick station that could be temporarily set up on the gravel square in front of Binz train station. The local population could deposit items that are no longer used but in working order, such as books, clothing, smaller furniture or electrical appliances. The whole thing could be deposited in a mobile car or container. The mobile drop-off and pick-up station could thus travel from neighborhood to neighborhood and ensure that fewer usable items are thrown away and more of them are returned to the cycle. Architecturally, this drop-off and pick-up station was to be designed in such a way that the objects were clearly visible and protected from the weather. Appropriately labeled boxes would be needed for smaller items, a clothes rail for clothing and a shelf for books. To prevent a garbage dump from forming here, a set of rules and regular checks by active neighborhood residents would be necessary. It may also be necessary to consider whether the drop-off and pick-up station should be closed at night to prevent vandalism. Alternatively, the station could only be accessible during certain opening hours.
