Weaving instead of throwing away – textile cycle in the neighbourhood

What should be created?
- I am a hand weaver and would like to offer workshops in the neighbourhood where we make new textile products from fabric scraps. For this I bring several looms with me. Together with the participants, bags, carpets or seat cushions, for example, are created - from materials that would otherwise be thrown away. The workshops are open to everyone and no previous knowledge is necessary. The implementation can be that workshops take place regularly in the neighbourhood (e.g. monthly), where I introduce the basics of weaving and accompany the participants in their own projects. The fabric scraps can come from the Zurich Oberland or from local sources in the neighbourhood, for example. I need premises for the workshops.
