What solar potential lies dormant in Alt-Wiedikon and Binz? With its 0.10 kWp Solar/EW, Zurich is behind Bern (0.13 kWp/EW), Basel (0.17 kWp/EW) and Freiburg DE (0.26 kWp/EW)!! A strongly accelerated solar expansion is a core component of the city's climate protection target (75% yes vote for net zero 2040). In a first step, the potential of Alt-Wiedikon and/or Binz is to be determined in the form of a potential study. If necessary, façade systems can also be included! Alternatively or as a supplement, the identification and a more detailed PV planning for the BEST solar roofs and/or facades that should definitely be realized asap!! Incl. evaluation based on various criteria (e.g. technical, economic, feasible) In general, this project is flexible and is aimed at the demands and inputs of the neighbourhood population.
