Vielen Dank für eure Idee und die konkrete Beschreibung der Situation rund um den Bahnhof Giesshübel – insbesondere mit Blick auf Erreichbarkeit und Barrierefreiheit, ein wichtiges Anliegen für das Quartier.

Im Pilotquartier suchen wir vor allem Ansätze, die von den Ideengeber*innen auch selbst umgesetzt werden können. In diesem Fall ist das leider nicht möglich, da neue Haltestellen sowie Anpassungen von Linienführungen und Angeboten im Zuständigkeitsbereich der Stadt bzw. der Verkehrsbetriebe liegen. Wir haben eure Idee daher mit der Stadt gespiegelt und entsprechend weitergeleitet, damit sie in die weiteren Überlegungen einfliessen kann.

Vor diesem Hintergrund kann die Idee im Rahmen des Votings leider nicht berücksichtigt werden. Herzlichen Dank euch dennoch für euer Engagement und euren Beitrag zum Pilotquartier – und vielleicht ergibt sich bei anderen Projekten im Quartier eine Möglichkeit, euch einzubringen.

A bus station at Giesshübel station is urgently needed! Between Silcity and Manesseplatz there is an unusually long bus route without a stop. Thousands of people get on or change trains at Giesshübel station every day. Especially for older people, the very long walks are very arduous, and they use cars/taxis instead. There is therefore a need for a better public transport connection and the establishment of a bus station on Manessestrasse near the Giesshübel S-Bahn station. And it would also make a lot of sense to have a bus that goes up not only to Binz, but also to Laubegg (extension of bus no. 76).
