Kurzzusammenfassung

What should be created?
The #MoveTheDate Festival is implemented as a lively neighbourhood festival and makes resource-saving lifestyles tangible where they begin: in everyday life. Instead of doing without, the festival works with what really picks people up, music, good food, inspiring stories, hands-on activities and solutions that you can try out immediately and take home with you. As an event lasting one or more days, it brings the neighbourhood together: families, young people, professionals and older people, all in one place, with a common focus: sharing, repairing, reusing and consuming cleverly. At the center is an open, modular festival area that can be flexibly set up depending on the location and space. In the Exchange & Sharing Zone, the motto is "bring it, take it with you": from lamps and children's items to sports and seasonal materials, household items or small pieces of furniture, things are given a second life. Right next door, the Repair & Upcycling Corner invites you to immediate repair: a mending station, mini-repairs and short workshops such as Velo-Quickfix or Textil-Fix, which show how quickly "broken" becomes "ready" again. On the MoveTheDate Lifehacks stage, short talks and real neighbourhood stories provide aha moments and practical tips that can be implemented on the same day. In addition, there is food & drink, regional, vegetarian, with reusable. The result is a festival that not only creates a good atmosphere, but also helps to make everyday life easier, cheaper and more climate-friendly.
