Kurzzusammenfassung

What should be created?
A Quick Sharing Box is being created at Binz station. A robust, lockable lending and returning station through which neighbourhood residents can borrow instead of buying everyday items, even in the evenings and on weekends when shops are closed. The box is uncomplicated: Items are reserved digitally (e.g. via QR code/app), picked up in a compartment of the box and returned after use. This makes spontaneous borrowing possible, without appointments or opening hours. At the start, the box offers a curated selection of frequently used but rarely used things (e.g. tools, cleaning equipment, event/outdoor equipment). The aim is to create a visible, low-threshold sharing hub in the neighbourhood that reduces new purchases, saves resources and makes sharing in everyday life as easy as picking up a parcel.
example
There is a box on the Beckeranlage where toys can be borrowed as long as it is similar.
