What should be created?
- A selected neighbourhood street is to be converted into a "net-zero pilot street". The road is intended to show how it is possible to build a neighborhood street for the (warmer) future: – Pavements and cycle paths should be as permeable as possible and light-coloured, with shade from trees and seating – As little paved area as necessary for deliveries. Where a paved area is built, a solution without fossil materials (without asphalt!) is to be used – Much fewer parking spaces: space for craftsmen, deliveries and rather not for residents (who should not park on the street) – Reserve space for local planting – Goal: Heat reduction and vision of the future.
