What should be created?
Raised beds are to be set up at various locations in the neighbourhood in which vegetables are grown together. At the same time, the raised beds should also offer seats that are shaded by greenery. The raised beds are maintained and watered by groups of volunteer participants. The vegetable islands promote collaborative and sustainable food production. In addition, the greening of public spaces in the city is a means of climate adaptation. We noticed that there are not very many places to linger in the Binz, for example. The sealing and advancing climate change make squares unbearably hot in summer.
