Vielen Dank für deine Idee und die differenzierte Beschreibung eines neuen Verkehrs-Mix im Quartier – der Ansatz ist gut nachvollziehbar und greift wichtige Themen wie Sicherheit, Klima und Zusammenleben auf.

Im Pilotquartier suchen wir vor allem Ansätze, die von den Ideengeber*innen auch selbst umgesetzt werden können. In diesem Fall ist das leider nicht möglich, da Änderungen an Verkehrsregimen (z. B. Einbahnstrassen oder Velostrassen) im Zuständigkeitsbereich der Stadt liegen. Wir haben deine Idee mit der Stadt gespiegelt und entsprechend weitergeleitet, damit sie in die weiteren Überlegungen einfliessen kann.

Vor diesem Hintergrund kann die Idee im Rahmen des Votings leider nicht berücksichtigt werden. Herzlichen Dank dir dennoch für dein Engagement und deinen Beitrag zum Pilotquartier – und vielleicht ergibt sich bei anderen Projekten im Quartier eine Möglichkeit, deine Perspektiven einzubringen.

The basic idea is that bicycles and cars should work together in the neighbourhood – but with a new emphasis in favour of bicycles. Not prohibition, not displacement, but a new smart traffic mix that increases safety, reduces climate impact and improves coexistence in the neighborhood. In concrete terms, this means: • One-way streets will be introduced in the neighbourhood to reduce through traffic and calm traffic. As a result, the quarter is less misused as a transit route. • At the same time, selected streets will be upgraded to cycle streets on which bicycles have priority – but cars will still be allowed to drive. Cars are guests, not enemies. • This combination enables a new "bike-car mix" in the district: Bicycle first → car → climate better → safety higher. This does not create a fight between road users, but a cooperative balance that is realistic, can be implemented quickly, is politically compatible and socially acceptable. Significant effects • Safety increases: Children, the elderly, bicycles and pedestrians move more safely. • Peace and quiet in the neighbourhood: less stress, less noise, less through traffic. • Climate benefits: More everyday journeys are made by bicycle – without an extreme prohibition regime. • Political consensus possible: No one is excluded, the car remains part of the neighborhood. It is a shaping of the future, not a restriction. This idea can be launched as a pilot in a limited perimeter – extremely fast learning effect, minimal costs
