About this process
Der Merkurplatz ist ein wertvoller Stadtplatz – sowohl als Begegnungsort als auch als Gartendenkmal. Zudem spielt er eine wichtige Rolle für die ökologische Vernetzung im Quartier. Der aktuelle Zustand ist jedoch unbefriedigend.
Nun soll der Platz als Gartendenkmal und in seiner ökologischen Funktion gestärkt werden, wobei die heutigen Aktivitäten der Bevölkerung weiterhin möglich bleiben sollen.
