Cultural Institutions & Climate Protection: Workshop, 20.10.2025, 2-5 p.m.

The workshop will provide a technically sound insight into the most important topics in the field of mobility within cultural practice. On the one hand, the travel of employees and artists in the company is addressed, and on the other hand, public mobility is addressed. 

The participants jointly develop solutions on how they can reduce emissions in the field of mobility in their company and create a concrete action plan tailored to their organization.

  • Where are the biggest emissions in mobility in one's own cultural sector? How can they be effectively reduced?

  • How relevant is audience mobility? What are the opportunities to raise awareness of environmentally friendly travel and what incentives are there? 

  • How can tours be planned in a more environmentally friendly way and travel routes optimized?

Duration: 3h

Participants: Maximum 30 people. A maximum of two people per institution. Recommendation: A representative from strategic management and a key person from practice
