Freiraumkonzept Zürich-West

Grün Stadt Zürich is revising the Zurich-West open space concept created in 2011. The new concept is intended to coordinate the development of open spaces and plan new open spaces. The focus is on the green spaces.

Participation, dialogue and exchange with the general population takes place in the KIP vessels.

The aim is to inform and capture the mood. In order to reach as many different target groups as possible, a combination of different participation formats will be implemented. Digital tools, special campaigns such as neighbourhood tours, public information events and, if necessary, exhibitions are used here.

At the beginning of July and September, two moderated walks with the population took place. Constructive discussions have led to insights for our planning team that would not have been possible without the know-how of the local population.

The results of the walks were sent in summary form to the echo room and the participants, as well as published on the project website of the Freiraumkonzept Zürich-West.
