The hackathon offers private sponsors the opportunity to jointly develop innovative ideas to promote the employability of adults and to network. In small, diverse teams, the participants work on concrete fields of action and present their solutions in short pitches. The focus is on creativity, exchange and cross-departmental cooperation – not on the development of mature programs and projects.

Fields of action based on the call for proposals "employability":

  • Promote participation in further training for people in precarious employment (e.g. those working in the gig economy)

  • Promoting basic skills with innovative educational formats and everyday topics (e.g. Health, Finance, AI)

  • Making informally acquired skills visible and usable by adults

  • (
  • further) develop qualifications recognised on the labour market (e.g. industry certificates, partial qualifications for the vocational qualification)

  • Create low-threshold access to the labour market (e.g. via short assignments, internships, trial days, etc.)

Target group

All interested professionals and persons from continuing education organisations, companies, industry associations, associations and non-governmental organisations
