About this process
The existing utilisation concept is to be reviewed.
The Allmend Brunau is an important green space for the city's population as well as for urban nature. A usage concept defined by the city council in 2003 directs the use on the Allmend Brunau. In the meantime, the population has grown and with it the pressure on this important local recreation area of the city of Zurich. Leisure behaviour has also changed. Therefore, it is to be examined whether the usage concept needs to be adapted in order to enable coexistence with as little conflict as possible in the future. As a first step, an analysis of the uses is carried out. Among other things, surveys on the Internet and on site will provide information for this purpose. The surveys will be conducted from the end of August to mid-September 2023.
