Fountain aims to provide a network of zero waste beverage stations which allows consumers on the go to buy their drinks in a more sustainable way, hence without the plastic waste and with a significantly smaller energy footprint. Our fountain beverage machine enables people to refill their multi-trip bottle, which are widely used, in a fast and simple manner. A selection of water (sparkling & without gas), and flavored drinks will be offered to reach as many customers as possible. We envision our fountains to stand at universities, train stations and public places. We experience the urge for sustainable change and want to path the way towards more sustainability in the drink market. #sustainability #beverage #circulareconomy

Dear Team Fountain
When looking at the carbon footprint of your prdoduct compared to conventional drinks in PET bottles, the savings in plastic waste are not as significant as the savings from transportation. Since you are planning to use the local fresh water tap, there will be less weight transported on the road. Consider looking into that aspect in more detail! ;)

Thank you very much for your input. You are 100% right. We will actually conduct a Life Cycle Analysis of our product in the beginning of 2023 which will show us exactly where our idea shows the most energy savings compared to the traditional single-use packaging.
