Which platform am I on?
«Mitwirken Stadt Zürich» is based on the open source software «Decidim», which was originally built by the Municipality of Barcelona and is being further developed by a worldwide community. More than 200 major cities, such as Helsinki and Brussels, as well as entire countries and non-profit organizations use the platform. It is also used in Switzerland, for example by the Canton of Geneva, the City of Lucerne, and on a smaller scale in Zürich with the «Quartieridee». For the City of Zürich, this platform was adapted to the project-specific needs.
Our version of the platform is also open source: The source code can be downloaded directly via Github.
