About the Klimaforum Zurich 

The Klimaforum serves the net zero strategy of the city of Zurich. Through information, dialogue and participation, the Klimaforum brings together various stakeholders from politics, business, education, NGOs, startups and climate youth. Together, the necessary climate protection measures are to be further developed and elaborated in order to achieve net zero 2040.  

We provide a platform, both offline and online, to discuss challenges and solutions for climate protection and adaptation. To this end, we hold regular focus events on various climate-related topics to develop concrete initiatives, campaigns and projects. In addition, a major annual event brings together key stakeholders to provide information on political processes and insights into ongoing activities.

The Klimaforum online platform aims to facilitate dialogue between city stakeholders and city staff: Within 5-7 working days, interested parties can receive feedback on specific questions within dialogue phases. On the other hand, the platform offers the possibility to tackle climate measures and participation processes together. 

The Klimaforum was launched by the City of Zurich in October 2020 in response to the "Climate Strike" petition. The program is led by the City of Zurich. Since April 2022, Impact Hub Zurich has taken over the mandate of an operationally acting, external office.

These are the people behind Klimaforum Zürich. To be seen here is only a part. The Klimaforum AG is a group of 30 people who support the Klimaforum within the city of Zurich in the different service departments of the city. Feel free to contact us with any questions.
